One of the most famous amusement parks in Spain, Port Aventura, is planning a major expansion this year. It will not only be replenished with new attractions, but plans to attract new visitors with a thematic corner dedicated to the legendary car brand.
As it became known, the management of the park has already signed an expensive contract with the Italian company. The preliminary cost of the modernization is 100 million euros, and you can enjoy the new sensations near Vila-seca and Salou (Tarragona).
The project envisages the creation of a theme park "Ferrari Land", which should cover an area of 75 square kilometers. At the same time, as the authors of the idea assure, the installed attractions will be designed for all age categories. The exact number of merry-go-rounds and their varieties are still kept secret, but it is known for sure that this is where the tallest vertical accelerator in all of Europe will be located.
The accelerator has every chance to get the title of the fastest existing amusement rides in the Old World. In addition, a roller coaster will be created, the cabins of which will be installed in the form of the most famous models of this legendary car brand.
The creators of the project do not intend to stop there. It is expected that the entertainment complex will be replenished with a modern hotel, the design of the rooms of which will be kept in the same thematic style. Preliminary, we are talking about the creation of 250 hotel rooms, a restaurant and shops. And for fans of speed and luxury cars, a special play area with rally stimulants will be created.
By the way, the car company itself has a positive attitude towards such ideas. The management of the concern believes that the creation of amusement theme parks has a positive effect on the growth of the brand's popularity and attracts new customers. It is no wonder that a similar entertainment complex already exists in Abu Dhabi. Ferrari World Park is considered one of the most popular places in the UAE. Since 2010, more than 20 rides in bright red style have been opened here.
The park in PortAventura should be another magnificent creation, but already on the territory of Europe.
